교회의 상태


교회의 상태는
기도 모임을 보면
매우 정확히 측정될 수 있다.
기도 모임은
사람들 가운데 성령의 역사가
얼마나 이루어 지고 있는 지를
파악할 수 있는
은혜의 계측기이다.
하나님께서 교회에 임하시면
교회는 반드시 기도하게 된다.
하나님께서 잠잠하시는 교회의
첫 번째 표징은
기도에 있어서의
나태함이 될 것이다 ! - 찰스 스펄젼

The condition of the church
may be very accurately gauged by its prayer meetings.  
So is the prayer meeting a grace-meter, and from it
we may judge of the amount of divine working among a people.  
If God be near a church, it must pray.  
And if He be not there,
one of the first tokens of His absence will be a slothfulness in prayer!
